Group B Strep Legal Contacts:
The following individuals are parents of GBS children. They have agreed to help answer legal questions surrounding GBS.

Tim and Judy Blakely 612.686.9062

Jim and Patrice Comey 804.360.9212

These people are selflessly volunteering their time, please respect it, call during normal hour for their time zone, etc.

Also, they are not meant to provide legal advice, but rather to inform you of some of your legal options. We encourage anyone considering legal action to consult with a law firm who specializes in medical malpractice cases. The first consultation is generally without cost and the attorney will be able to better clarify your options and probability of success.

Request for Assistance

In a continuing effort to supply members of the GBSA and attorneys representing our members the best legal service we can, it would be a tremendous benefit to all those involved in or who have completed their litigation, to provide the GBSA with a list of their respective medical expert witnesses. These persons are greatly needed in litigation within medical community standard jurisdictions across the country. There are medical experts out there, but we do not know of all of them. Please help us in our continuing battle against GBS. Each malpractice suit we win gives a greater incentive to those physicians and facilities to begin the routine screening of GBS for their respective patients. Please send us any pertinent information to [email protected].
