| After reviewing the concepts of the Tango query document from TANGO 201, you will examine more sophisticated Tango solution models and learn key Tips and Tricks that enhance the Web user experience. | |

Syllabus: |
Participants will review the concepts of Tango action items, variables, globals (system globals, document globals and global keys), metatags and query docuement flow, after which they will examine more sophisticated Tango solution models and learn the key concepts behind each one: Populate a dynamic pop-up menu. Enhance the TANGO 201 Login system using Tango metatags (eg. <@INCLUDE>). Learn how to use "HTTP Re-direct". Review the Shopping Basket model (which illustrates high level global use and the value of the <@IFEQUALS>). Discover how to allow the user to set the number of records returned and/or the sort order for fields. Examine a chat-room Tango query document called "Chat.taf" to learn all about frames and how to build them within a query document. "Hack" around a little with some of your own ideas, and the day is done! |
